The horizon in this photograph is about halfway down. Below we see the sea, with a small edge of beach sand.
The sea has lots of waves and foam heads and the sky is reflected in the sea.
The sky has some blue, but also some enormously heavy rain clouds. It was also going to rain enormously later on. In the light part of the cloud we see a silhouette of a flying seagull.
The colors of the photo are deep blue, gray and pink and orange.
The photo was taken on the west coast of Texel, one of the Wadden Islands in the north of the Netherlands.
