Alone under the endless canopy of the Myrkulla Lodge, near the blueberry hut - a place so remote that even the wind seems to whisper. It was a dark night, the darkness almost palpable. Only the occasional crack of frozen twigs accompanied my steps. I had hesitated to walk this path alone. The fear of loneliness was too great, the thoughts of wild animals and the unknown too vivid. To calm myself down, I spoke softly to the darkness, sang a few notes - not for others, just for myself.
Then the light came. As if from nowhere, they began to dance - veils of green fire, pulsating, alive. I stood there, marvelling, filled with a stillness that was not empty, but full of life.
When I returned home later, my eyes still shining, I knew that this night had changed me. It was a gift from nature in northern Sweden - and a silent promise to myself.

Also very suitable as a fine art print in limited series.
