The tetrarch Herod Antipas asks his stepdaughter Salome to dance for him at a feast. In return she may demand what she wants from him. She agrees to dance the dance of the seven veils and demands, partly at the instigation of her mother Herodias, the head of John the Baptist.
The woman in this biblical story is depicted here as a sensual maid in a transparent sheer dress which she wears bralessly, causing her feminine body to sway seductively back and forth through the dance.
All in all a sexy and sensual erotic picture with romance.
