About the artwork

Amsterdam, also affectionately known as Mokum, is a city that inspires me time and again as a photographer. On a quiet evening, armed with my camera and tripod, I traveled by train to Amsterdam Central Station with one goal: to capture the iconic canal houses on Damrak.

These characteristic facades, beautifully lit in the evening hours, are a favorite subject among photographers. As it is a much-photographed location, I wanted to take a unique approach. In post-processing, I carefully created a warm and atmospheric composition, where the reflections in the water and the colour balance contribute to a timeless cityscape.

The result is an artwork that not only reflects the charm of Amsterdam, but also comes into its own perfectly as wall decoration on Canvas, Aluminium, Plexiglas or ArtFrame. A real eye-catcher for any interior.

As far as I am concerned, the mission has been accomplished. Hopefully you feel the same way, and this work will soon grace your wall.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
