Together with two girlfriends, I went out to the Wandelbos in Tilburg. We had heard that there would be lots of squirrels there. That certainly turned out to be true!
Not only were there many squirrels, they were also very curious and came very close. If you moved quietly, they soon came to inspect you. The camera proved to be very interesting to them, the creature in the picture came to inspect the lens from 40 cm away, resulting in this spectacular photo! I couldn't quite suppress a cheerful noise, which startled the animal for a moment. A little further on it looked at me like: what did you do?
Meanwhile, I almost exploded with happiness with my photo of the curious little snout.
Passion for photography, where does something like that come from? The beauty is that every photographer will have their own answer. For me it flows out of being able to freeze a moment, step out of the day-to-day rush, and take my time for what I am.. Read more…
