About "Curious Barbary Macaque in Morocco"

About the artwork

After a long afternoon of waiting, we were joined in the middle of the forest by these curious Barbary macaques. Swinging through the trees, they were looking for the tastiest fruits and nuts to eat. When this Barbary ape put his just-found meal in his mouth, he looked at the camera with his curious eyes.

For me, this picture is more than just a picture of a Barbary ape. Having seen the monkeys in tourist locations, where they are fed for the tourists, it was extremely special to be able to capture them so calmly and in their natural habitat. It is a photo full of hope for a safe future for this special species of monkey.

I hope this Barbary ape invites you to be curious, look at tourist activities involving animals (like Barbary apes and tree goats in Morocco) with discerning eyes, and invites you to go out into nature and capture such special moments.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
