About the artwork

Crumbled Identity is an expressive and introspective work of art that explores the fragility and mutability of self-image. The contours of the figure are still visible, but its structure seems to be crumbling in layers of colour and texture. The combination of soft pastel tones, deep purple accents and vibrant orange details creates a dynamic contrast between decay and transformation.

The coarse, abstract brushstrokes reinforce the sense of fragmentation-as if the figure is about to dissolve into the surrounding void. The face, only partially defined, suggests an inner struggle between recognition and alienation. The lack of distinct features makes the portrait universal; it could be any of us, caught in a moment of reflection, change or even confusion.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
