About ‘Crocuses in a Veil of Light – Panoramic Forest Landscape’ by Whale & Sons

Yellow crocuses emerge gently amongst the trees in a woodland scene. The flowers form a light band on the forest floor and glow in the soft light filtering through the trunks. The shapes remain slightly blurred, as if the scene were viewed through a fine veil of light.
The dark silhouettes of the trees in the background lend the image structure and depth, whilst the flowers stand out clearly against the green and brown of the forest. The crocuses seem to emerge gently from the earth, bringing the first sign of spring to the tranquil landscape.
Thanks to the wide panoramic format (3:1), the forest unfolds gently from left to right. This gives the image a landscape-like quality and makes it particularly suitable for long walls and open spaces where a natural and tranquil atmosphere is desired.
