About ‘Crete nature photo’ by Monique Maessen-Demoet

Crete never ceases to amaze me with its beauty. From rugged cliffs in one place to elongated sandy beaches in another. On the eastern side a lot of drought and very barren in the summers and on the western side a much greener landscape.
This photo was taken on the west side of the island, near the famous Falassarna beach. It is already a bit later in the day, giving you warmer colours in your photos's. The reflection of the sun on the sea, the clear blue sea combined with the green and right front the yellow/orange of the bushes offers a nice image for any wall.

My name is Monique Maessen-Démoet, graphic designer. From an early age, it was clear that I had a passion for being creative. I was always drawing. It was therefore a logical step to do a graphic design course, which I followed at the Mediacollege in Amsterdam (direction Concept & Design). Design is my passion and my challenge in this work is to turn every assignment into something unique that suits the customer. In my spare time, I like to photograph the nature.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
