In the late summer months of 2024 this picture was taken just outside of Leeuwarden, Netherlands while capturing the sunset with cows grazing in the foreground. There was a little fog in the air among the trees which gave the picture a mystical feel. The full sun was bleaming with defferent shades of orange as it slowly creeped down under the horizon. After 40+ years of photography experience around the world and inspired by the love of photographing sunsets and that I had been trying to capture a shot like this for many years with the sun full on the horizon. I was overwhelmed with this oppurtunity to capture the sun on the horizon like this. And having some Frisian cows grazing in the foreground was a bonus. This picture was taken at 400 mm. Camera used: Canon Rebel T3i with Canon 70-200 mm zoom lens with Canon multiplier 2x.
