By 2022, the mental and economic reserves of many people have been depleted by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. This depletion has led to the rise of more and more 'self-appointed experts' - individuals who claim to know everything, but in reality are often misguided and ignorant. This situation is creating a new kind of pandemic, in which society must deal not only with the virus, but also with the harmful effects of disinformation and distrust.
With ongoing economic uncertainty and pressure on mental health, many people are in a vulnerable position. Self-appointed experts take advantage of this, spreading misinformation and presenting themselves as the ultimate source of knowledge. This leads to further deterioration, with people becoming more confused and anxious.
Despite these challenges, most people are trying to pick up their lives and adapt to the new reality. However, the lack of economic resources and constant mental pressure make this a difficult task. Clearly, we need to face not only the Covid-19 pandemic, but also the social and psychological pandemics associated with it.
This situation is worrying and requires a concerted effort to provide both economic and mental support to those in need. It is crucial to counter the spread of disinformation and provide the community with accurate and reliable information. Only then can we reduce the effects of these multiple pandemics and build a healthier future.
