This Common Ox-tongue is not just another flower. If you look closely, you can see that it is also a place, inviting mating drives, as shown by the two beetles on the left side of the flower. Unfortunately, I can't name the beetles because their backs are to me.
The deep blue/blue-violet colour is striking in the roughs where this flower is usually found.
This photo was taken early, as you can see from the dewdrops, which are present on the hairy leaves as well as on the flowers.
