When I walk through picturesque Middle Delfland, I feel the breath of nature penetrating deep inside me. With my camera in hand, I search for the hidden stories the landscape has to offer. Birds hide in the reeds or high in the trees, their songs like whispers in the wind. It takes patience and attention to capture these magical moments - peering into the trees, searching through the reeds, waiting for that one sign of life.
The Vockestaert, an enchanting nature reserve between Delft and Schiedam, has a special significance for me. Here I discovered my first Goldfinch and Bluethroat, but the Bearded Tit remains my most cherished discovery. These unforgettable encounters are the inspiration for my artworks.
The result of this inspiration is a unique fusion of photography and digital art. In MidJourney, I created an abstract, painterly background in warm, soft tones. The watercolour-like textures and subtle colour transitions give the work a dreamy, almost ethereal atmosphere that invites wonder.
This artwork is more than a visual representation of nature. It adds a sense of calm, serenity and experience to your home. An eye-catcher in your interior, this artwork fits seamlessly into a variety of styles, from minimalist Scandinavian to warm rural. The natural elements and soothing colours bring a slice of the outdoors inside, making it the perfect wall decoration for any room. It not only offers a visual experience, but connects the beauty of nature to your everyday life and transforms your interior.
