Dutch polder landscape in early spring. A narrow stream meanders through the landscape. The water surface is as smooth as a mirror and reflects the blue sky and the bare tree on the bank. The reeds are still dry and yellowed but the rapeseed is already in full bloom. The photograph was taken at the foot of the Nieuwe Zuiderlingedijk near the Dutch village of Heukelum, in the municipality of West Betuwe, province of Gelderland.
