Wow! Usually, foggy days only give a dull flat appearance, which does not make you very happy as a photographer. But how different it is when the evening falls and the fog reaches the city center. The city lights suddenly take on a fairy-tale like appearance, as here in the city park Valkenberg of Breda. The trees are still beautifully decorated with thousands of lights. As I stand here on the Willemsbrug, two cyclists happen to pass by, adding an extra dimension to this scene, with their bicycle lights.
What started out as travel photography in the 1990s grew into a hobby that got out of hand. Photography became a daily activity.
