About the artwork

The picture shows one of the most beautiful backdrops on the Rhine: the Cologne Cathedral and the Hohenzollern Bridge in the evening.
Blue, purple and pink hues blend together to create a beautiful calm atmosphere - the outline of the cathedral and the beautiful structure of the bridge can be seen. Clouds pass by, the fading daylight lights up and the cathedral and the bridge cast soft shadows on the water. The construction of the Cologne Cathedral started in 1248 and was completed in 1880, in 2022 the 700th anniversary of the consecration of the Gothic cathedral choir will take place.
In 1996 the cathedral was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Together with the Hohenzoller Bridge, it forms the most famous and largest landmarks of Cologne.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
