cold morning
with one deep breath
winter enters me
Winter snow minimalist abstract lines is a hand-painted acrylic painting in a modern square format by the artist Karen Kaspar.
Soft blue and turquoise lines create a calm, abstract image reminiscent of a tranquil winter landscape with snow-covered fields. The gentle gradient from the centre to the edges gives the impression of a calm, open space under a clear sky with a snow-covered path leading through the snow to the horizon.
This work, a combination of painting and haiku, is a joint project by Karen Kaspar (© art) and Marjolein Rotsteeg (© Haiku).
A haiku is a traditional Japanese poetic form consisting of three lines.
Here, the acrylic painting has been supplemented with the haiku in English. The painting is also available without text (see album 'Christmas and Winter').
You can find more paintings with haiku and poems in my albums 'Haiku and Painting English' and 'Haiku and Painting Dutch'. New works are constantly being added to the albums. So keep checking back from time to time!
