The Siege of Woerde was a siege of the city of Woerden in the Dutch province of Utrecht (at that time still part of Holland) from September 8, 1575 until September 10, 1576 during the Eighty Years' War. After a siege of over a year, the Army of Flanders broke off the siege again because it had to act against the Spanish mutiny in Flanders.
Coenraet Decker was a printmaker, draughtsman, cartographer born in 1650 in Amsterdam, Holland, Netherlands and died there on 1685-03-02.
