About ‘Close-up of an eagle owl with bright orange eyes’ by Charlotte Hagg

I photographed this eagle owl during a birds of prey show, shortly after I’d bought a new zoom lens. The bird was quite a distance away, making this a great opportunity to test the lens’s capabilities.

When I looked at the photo later, the sharpness really stood out. Despite the distance, the details of the feathers are clearly…
