About "Clipper Stad Amsterdam and Maritime Museum"

by Peter Bartelings

About the artwork

The evening shot shows the beautifully lit three-master Stad Amsterdam. The clipper is moored next to the Scheepsvaartmuseum, which is also illuminated with soft light. The lighting creates a beautiful reflection on and almost ripple-free water of the IJ. To the left of the clipper, the moon can be seen, and if you look closely, you can see countless stars dotting the crystal-clear sky! This work can be ordered both in colour and in black-and-white.

About the image maker: born and raised in Amsterdam, Peter feels a close connection with the city of Amsterdam. Over the years, he has produced many works, not only of Amsterdam, but also other cities at home and abroad fill his portfolio. Landscape and macro photography are also part of his work.
As a digital artist, he has now also earned his spurs, especially with adaptations of old masters.

Peters' work sells widely and hangs on the walls of buyers in Belgium and Germany as well as in the Netherlands.
