I like to linger on the cliffs of Cap Prim in Jávea to observe the sea water from an elevated position. I am inspired by the dreamlike blue tones of the crystal-clear water, the gentle waves, the subtle reflections of the sunlight and the rock formations near the shore. I am particularly fascinated by the abstract effects I see in the natural textures of the rocks and the subtle movements of the water's surface. For me, flowing water represents the beauty of nature, which is characterised by constant movement and change.
When I go in search of motifs on the Mediterranean coast, I focus on details, but also on the magical interplay of colours and structures. Photography offers me good opportunities to capture my impressions and the subtle changes in the water. This shot is dedicated to the movements and colours of the flowing water on the beach, but also to the rocky structures on the seabed.
The rocks bear the marks of time and have been moulded over a long period of time by the force of the water. When I look at the coast, I think about the slow changes in nature that have given the rocks their current shape. But also about the rapid changes that are expressed through the movements of the water. With this photo, I want to bring the relaxing effect of seawater into your home.
