Citroen Ami 8 (1969-1978), the successor of the famous Ami 6, a French small car of the lower middle class with petrol engines of 23.5-39.7 kW power. Between March 1969 and September 1978, 800,775 copies of the Ami 8 were produced, while 1,039,384 copies of the Ami 6 were sold. So the Citroën Ami 8 was not quite as successful in 9 years construction time as its predecessor model in 8 years.
