Circles and leaves in soothing earth tones

by Lisette Rijkers

This painting is done in soothing colours. Different shades all found in nature. Brown and dark grey are true shades of the earth, of the sand and rock around us. They are solid colours. Colours that symbolise strength. The strength of the sand and rock in which trees and plants can anchor themselves and in which their roots find a foothold.
The soft pastel beige symbolises light. Without light, there is no life on earth.
The soft blue background symbolises water. Water is also indispensable in the circle of life.
And from it, therefore, life arises. Life in the form of plants and trees. The fresh green leaves symbolise all living organisms on the earth.
Three circles in soft soothing earth tones with fresh green leaves in front of them. This botanical artwork therefore also symbolises the circle of life. In life, everything has a beginning but also an end. And in the end, everything starts again too!
This artwork in natural colours is based on a painting I made myself. This painting has received a little digital processing to perfect it further.
Enjoy this work of art with a zen look in natural soft earth tones. A nice peace and quiet spot in your bedroom, for example, but it certainly looks great in another room in your home too!
