One of Bohol's main tourist attractions, the Chocolate Hills are a series of majestic grass-covered hills that reach far into the horizon. The hills derive their name from the grassy vegetation that turns chocolate brown in the driest months (February to July). Their exact origins are still being debated, but most scientists believe that they have been formed over time by the emergence of coral deposits and the effects of rainwater and erosion.
