Chimpanzee in the cannabis field: whiskey, joint, headphones & Calm is power (2)

by AidasignArt

Here he is enthroned. Not just anywhere, but in the middle of a cannabis field that has apparently decided to run away with a sunset: Pink, purple and green intertwine in a riot of colour that screams less botany and more good mood. In this intoxicatingly colourful sea, he sits as if on an inner throne - a pink chimpanzee, painted with a slightly impasto, playful application of paint, as if the brush itself were having a very good day.

He is not just sitting there. He is meditating in an after-work posture. A Zen master of deceleration, completely in harmony with himself, his surroundings and almost certainly with his favourite playlist. He balances a glass of whiskey in one hand - confidently, calmly, without any existential crisis. The other hand is pointing his thumb upwards: not a motivational poster, but a statement. Running.

The pink coat stands out confidently against the pink-purple-green field, as if the colour palette had decided to produce only winners today. The spacy glasses promise foresight, the headphones politely signalise: please don't disturb me, I'm with me right now.

The phrase "Calm is power" appears at the bottom right. Not loud, not lecturing, but casually placed - like a motto for life that doesn't need a hashtag.

This work is not an appeal, not an instruction, not a raised index finger. It is a humorous exaggeration, a colourful wink and a clear message: serenity can look damn good. And this monkey knows that very well. And this is just one part of the "Chimpanzees in the cannabis field" series of pictures - a colourful ensemble of Zen masters on four paws that captivate every viewer with humour, colour and plenty of serenity.
