Shortly before sunrise, a magical silence lies over the Malerwinkel on Lake Chiemsee. The night still tentatively covers the landscape in a blanket of blue and grey, while the first light of day whispers on the horizon: "I'm coming."
The old lamps along the wooden footbridge cast warm, gentle rays into the calm water - like little promises of dawn. Every gleam of light is reflected on the smooth surface of the lake, as if hoping to be seen twice before daylight displaces it.
The mountains in the background are still asleep - dark blue, almost black, embraced by the last mists of night. The sight of them gives the heart pause, reverent and silent. No sound disturbs this moment - only the soft lapping of the water against the wooden posts.
It is a moment of timelessness in which everything seems possible. Thoughts become slower, deeper. There is no room for haste here, no room for worry - only the feeling that life, right now, right here, is in balance.
And as the sun prepares to fill the sky with colour, this moment remains like a painted dream - fleeting, yet unforgettable.
