About "Chickweed - Stellaria holostea"

About the artwork

The image shows a close-up of a natural field with numerous small white flowers with orange centres - an artistically coloured representation of chickweed (Stellaria holostea). The flowers are surrounded by green grass and foliage, while the background is blurred by a soft bokeh effect. The warm light, presumably taken at golden hour, lends the scene a soft, almost atmospheric depth.

The inspiration for this work was the combination of natural structure and targeted colour change. The orange-coloured centres draw the eye and give the otherwise restrained plant a new visual presence. The aim was to make the delicate formal language of chickweed more tangible through subtle interventions in colour and light.

With this picture, I wanted to create a calm but not neutral atmosphere - a moment of stillness that gains depth through light and colour. The message lies in the possibility of seeing the familiar in a new way if you change your perspective and perception.

In interior design, this work is particularly suitable for rooms that combine naturalness with design clarity. It brings lightness and structure to the room and its warm colours have both a calming and inspiring effect.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
