Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘Cheerful ghost family flies colourful kites’ by artefacti

The painting presents an idyllic scene in which a large ghost, presumably the parent, is flying kites in a field with a swarm of smaller ghosts that could represent children. The sky is dotted with numerous colourful kites dancing in the air and blowing merrily in the wind with their ribbons and strings. The large spirit holds a kite in his hand with a broad, warm smile and appears to be supervising the smaller spirits as they play. The scene is bathed in soft light emanating from a warm sun and the sky is streaked with light clouds. The field stretches to the horizon, offering a wide view of the joyful activity of the spirits. The atmosphere is characterised by lightness and joy, and the scene seems like a peaceful break from everyday life, where fun and fellowship take centre stage.
