About ‘Chateau Miranda’ by Marius Mergelsberg

Chateau Noizy (or Chateau Miranda)
was a neo-Gothic castle from the year 1866, it served
served as the summer residence of the Liedekerke-Beaufort family. During the Second World War, it was occupied by German troops. After the war, the family lived in the right wing of the castle and rented out the rest of the castle to the National Company of the Belgian Railways (SNCB) as a holiday home for the children of railway employees. The SNCB cancelled the lease in 1977 due to rising costs. Count Liedekerke-Beaufort set up a foundation in 1978 to continue using the castle as a home, now mainly for school classes, and opened it to the public.
In 1990, he looked in vain for investors to convert the castle into a hotel.
This never happened, and from 1991 it was left to its fate and was abandoned for over 26 years until it was demolished in 2017.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
