A combination of wildflowers had been on my drawing wishlist for a while. This one came out: a sprig of camomile and a cornflower. Based on a photo of a cornflower, and a real sprig of camomile picked from the roadside, I started working on a composition and a sketch. I then applied colour with several layers of watercolour pencil. And with meadow flowers comes, of course, a butterfly. A pretty picture is the result, with calm colours and an appealing composition. For a beautiful botanical accent in your interior!
