About the artwork

A short-haired patchwork cat and two kittens lie or play with a ball of yarn in this horizontal painting. To the left, the largest cat has markings in honey brown and black across his face and along his spine, and the rest of his fur is white. Most of his body disappears behind a lace-trimmed canvas hanging at the left edge of the painting, but he lies down so that his chest is facing us, and he looks at us with piercing yellow eyes. One kitten lies in front of the bigger cat so that all four paws and his tail are facing us. He has caramel brown, grey and black stripes with white spots on his nose, chest and paws. He faces right with lime-green eyes. To our right, the other kitten rests on his hind legs so that his front paws are free to entangle the end of the carnation-pink yarn, rolled from a neatly coiled ball to our left, in front of the other kitten. Looking at us from the left, this kitten has white fur with flint grey and black spots along its spine, tail and around its ears and eyes. The textured rug under the cats is straw yellow. A maroon plinth spans the painting behind the cats and the wall above is slate blue with stylised floral patterns in translucent white. The artist's precise brushstrokes are particularly visible in the cats' fur and their glossy whiskers.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
