Terschelling's famous castaway shelter ("drenkelingenhuisje") in the last evening light. Located on the remote eastern side of the island, the original was built in 1863 as a shelter for castaways who could wait here in relative shelter for their rescue. After the original was destroyed by storm in 1962, a replica was built decades later and is now probably the most photographed "house" on Terschelling.
