Cape Flattery is the most northwestern tip of the 48 contiguous states of the US. It is part of the Makah Indian Reservation and is located in the Olympic NP. The cape is really beautiful and worth a visit. You have to make a long detour because it's not really on the main route through the Olympic N.P. You can spend the night in nearby Neah Bay and if you're there anyway, it's definitely worth a visit to Shi Shi Beach.
