Calm Dutch evening.
The Mijzenpolder lies near the much better known Eilandspolder on the other side of Schermerhorn. It is a lot smaller and less well known. Because of the latter it is especially a lot quieter. You can see and hear birds like the black-tailed godwit, the redshank, the lapwing, the oystercatcher, the shoveler and the skylark in abundance. Although the area is accessible year-round, it is best not to visit during the breeding season to allow the birds their rest. There is little construction. Except along the ring dike, there is actually only one farm in the polder. This is at the end of the only road on the place where from about 1000 to 1745 the Mijzenkerkje stood. The polder consists almost entirely of grassland and because there are no trees you can see the ring dike in all directions. There are two places where you can enter the polder by canoe. First at Het Zwet near the church of Schermerhorn, and second at a pumping station between Ursem and Avenhorn. You can also paddle through the ring canal around the polder, the round trip U.S.A." (Ursem-Schermerhorn-Avenhorn). This is a trip of about 12 kilometers.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
