About "Calm before the storm: The Duality of Nature"

About the artwork

The image depicts a deserted beach with a dark, mysterious atmosphere. The sky above is laden with dense, tormented clouds, tinged with a deep grey that threatens an imminent storm. The light filtering through the sky creates a contrast with the darker areas, suggesting a moment of precarious calm before the elements are unleashed.

The sea, although seemingly calm, shows signs of movement, with small waves dying gently on the fine, damp sand. The surface of the water reflects the grey light of the sky, adding a sense of deceptive tranquillity to the scene.

The shoreline comes in shades of blue-grey and black, streaked and patterned by the receding water, revealing the wet texture of the sand. The horizon is almost indistinct, blending into the heavy sky, and the distance between sea and sky is blurred by the humidity of the air.

There is no visible human or animal presence, reinforcing the sense of solitude and isolation. The scene is both beautiful and intimidating, capturing the latent power of nature and its indifference to human tumult.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
