Cobblestone roads and pedestrianized areas in towns are quite common in Portugal, often using different color stones to create patterns. A close-up view of a two-toned mosaic pavement is showcased, with an awning in front of a shop creating additional contrast. The upper part of the pavement is composed of light-colored stones, while the lower part consists of dark gray stones, with the patterning changing from diagonal to horizontal where the color changes.
