another cactus, also an opuntia, on my balcony. I find it fascinating that this plant family has managed in the course of its evolution to withstand drought and temperatures above 60°c in summer and frost down to -10°c and more in winter.

Later, when I started painting, I realised that I chose almost the same motifs when painting as I did with my first camera.
