About "Bye, it's raining cats and dogs here"

About the artwork

The pigeon seeks shelter from the rain and finds a spot on the car. This unexpected scene adds a new dimension to the photograph, creating a contrast between the human and animal worlds. While the humans are inside the warm car, seeking comfort and protection from the elements, the pigeon is outside, relying on its plumage to protect itself from the rain. This contrast between human and animal needs and conditions highlights the fragility of life and the natural instincts that guide us in seeking shelter and safety.

The presence of the car also adds a new dynamic to the image, with the stationary car and the resting pigeon creating an interesting contrast. The car symbolises human technology and progress, while the dove stands for the natural world and the simplicity of the animal kingdom. This fusion of human and animal elements creates an intriguing image that invites the viewer to reflect on themes of coexistence, protection and finding a place of refuge in a world full of contradictions.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
