About the artwork

One of the largest ancient stupas in Nepal. The Bouddhanath stupa in Kathmandu. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal.

In the middle of a square in towers this gigantic stupa above the surrounding area. The stupa is about 36 meters high. Every day hundreds of Tibetan pilgrims come to this shrine and walk a kora around the stupa. A kora is a kind of combination of a ritual and a pilgrimage. The pilgrims walk in clockwise circles around the stupa and recite prayers. Especially the mantra "Om mani padme hum" is prayed aloud. Many pilgrims carry a prayer wheel filled with a piece of paper with the same mantra written on it, and the prayer wheel helps the mumbling of the mantra as they turn around. It is beautiful to see how Tibetans live their religion.

The stupa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was damaged during the big earthquake in 2015 that hit Nepal hard. The stupa has since been restored.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
