About the artwork

Bruntenhof and Lepelenburg in Utrecht. The Bruntskameren is a complex of fifteen one-room houses. They were commissioned by the lawyer Frederik Brunt on the yard of his house Klein Lepelenburg in 1621 for the benefit of poor widows, who received food and fuel in addition to free housing. The main building became reception rooms for his heirs and contains a baroque carved gate. The cottages were first part of Lepelenburg but later the streets were named Bruntenhof and Bruntensteeg. The name Bruntenhof comes from the communal garden behind the one-room houses. On the hill is villa Lievendaal. This is the only villa in the inner city of Utrecht and a national monument. Built in 1862, the villa was deliberately placed on a hill so that the residents did not have to look out on the poverty of the adjacent Bruntskameren. This photo was taken at dawn on 16 December 2018, Dark Utrecht. That's the name of my series of photos of Utrecht places after sunset. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
