About the artwork

Brückenstranke
A feature of Traben-Trarbach is the Brückenstranke, a gatehouse at the bridge over the Moselle completed in 1899. This bridge is a newer copy for the historic bridge that was unfortunately destroyed in 1944 during the last World War. Traditionally, the city has always had an urban structure. This was mainly reflected in the variety of businesses located there and the dominance of merchants. During the 19th century, Traben in particular became increasingly important economically. The area, which mainly consisted of agricultural land and was mainly focused on wine growing, started to become interesting for the wine merchants from Trarbach. Especially after the city fire in Trarbach in 1857, many wine merchants moved to Traben. A wine wholesaler was established there, which ensured that Traben gained a considerable economic advantage over Trarbach. After difficult negotiations, it was finally decided to merge the two towns into one. This was officially ratified on 26 March 1904.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
