About the artwork
A group of brown fly agarics (Amanita muscaria regalis) in a central composition captured in a special way. By using several flashes, a reflection screen and a 90 mm macro, I was able to realize this photograph. With the ever changing sunlight it is a challenge to find the right light balance in terms of settings. The natural light in the background also requires the right timing so that it comes together as an extra light source in the composition and gives the whole a lot of measured perspective and depth.
As a photographer I love to capture the endlessness and details of the Dutch landscape in strong photo images. By using different techniques and combining them with perspective and composition I create the own dynamics that are often recognizable in my photography work. With my photographs I try to capture a momentum in time where you almost seem to be able to touch the image and the atmosphere is almost tangible.
