About ‘Brisbane, Story bridge at night’ by Hilma Bovenkerk
In this painting I worked with acrylic paint, sprays and stamping techniques. It is a lightshow of the Story brigde in Brisbane Australia hanging over the water of the wide river.

Drawing is in my blood. But my career took off when I went to the Rotterdam art academy. There I most enjoyed the lessons in model drawing. Experimenting with styles remains the most beautiful element of visualizing on a flat surface. The materials can be anything, I'm always looking for new challenges but nowadays I take a longer time for research. My specialty is still portraits, but as far as subjects go, there is no limit. The world is new every day!
