About the artwork

Watching the Great Crested Grebe courtship is certainly one of the most impressive natural experiences our local nature has to offer. The highlight of the courtship is the "penguin dance", in which the partners stretch chest to chest high out of the water, paddling with their feet while holding nesting material in their beaks, which is later used to build the nest. The picture was taken early in the morning with the sun rising and a light morning mist over the water, which gives the picture a very special atmosphere and nothing distracts from the dancing pair of great crested grebes.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
