In recent years, Breda's city centre has already undergone a major overhaul. The city's historic character has been well restored. Fantastic facilities have been provided for visitors by land and water. Where there used to be an underground car park, there is now a beautiful water feature, from which you have a view of the Harbour, the Hoge Brug, the old post office, Spanjaardsgat and, last but not least, the Grote Kerk. In the early morning light with rapidly moving clouds, this is a scene to enjoy.
