What a beautiful sunset this was. Breathtaking!
Prior to the day this picture was taken, there were several days of strong winds on the coast of the Netherlands. There was a wind force nine and the sea was stormy. Imposing clouds swept over the beach.
This day, the wind was somewhat less, but the clouds were still there. But the moment the sun had almost disappeared, openings in the clouds appeared and a beautiful sunset could be seen. A sunset with warm colours of yellow and orange. Warm colours of the sun reflected in the wet beach sand.
It was almost dark at the time this photo was taken, creating a special contrast between dark and light. The light of the sun showing itself for a moment.
A lighthouse can be seen on the horizon on the left. Otherwise, this is a deserted beach. A beach without people, animals or anything else is always an inspiration for me. I love it!
