About the artwork

A beautiful landscape photo of a breakwater on the beach of Domburg during an atmospheric sunset.
The long shutter speed makes the wavy seawater smooth and soft creating a special calm and serene atmosphere.
The beautiful golden light of the setting sun creates a beautiful sun glow in the sky and also reflects in the North Sea.
The breakwater creates a nice depth of field in the photo.

When I am photographing landscapes I will usually choose to photograph during the sunrise and sunset. During this time also called the golden hours, the light is at its best. The light is nice and soft and warm in color and creates beautiful long shadows. This soft warm light creates beautiful colors and a nice soft atmosphere in the picture.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
