The Botermarkt is a square in the Dutch city of Kampen where a butter market was held in the Middle Ages. On the square the Broederstraat and Buiten Nieuwstraat meet. On the square stands the bronze statue "Catootje" of artist Peter Leijenaar.
The Kamper Tabaksmuseum was also located on the square as a tribute to the important contribution of the cigar industry to the prosperity of Kampen. The museum, with the world's largest cigar, closed down on 1 January 2008.
Originally, the square was the burial place of the nearby monastery of the Friars Minor (Franciscus of Assisi). After the reformation (1580) the monastery, with the exception of the Broeder Church, and the surrounding spaces were given a public function. The convent garden was changed into a market square.
