Botanical art: A branch with blackberries in the autumn sun by Studio Pieternel

● Exclusive design for Werk aan de Muur / Art Heroes

This refined piece brings the essence of late summer and early autumn to life. The composition depicts a slender branch laden with ripe, jet-black blackberries that stand out beautifully against the warm, autumnal hues of the foliage. The leaves vary in colour from golden yellow to intense orange and deep reddish-brown, giving the piece a cosy and weathered look.

It is a classic botanical design with a contemporary twist. The subtle, almost transparent background with faint leaf outlines creates an atmospheric sense of depth, allowing the main subject to really stand out. This style fits perfectly within a rustic interior, but also looks stunning in a modern country-style home. Imagine it in the living room above a wooden sideboard or in a study where the natural colour tones form a soothing backdrop.

This design is a refined addition for those who love natural aesthetics and wish to bring warmth into their home. Thanks to its colour palette, it fits seamlessly with trends centred on earthy tones and textures. It evokes a sense of nostalgia and cosiness, ideal for a space where relaxation is key.
