Botanical wall art Aluna means 'Giving'. It is made of Marigold, Malva, Japanese anemone and violet. Pansies are beautiful and powerful, edible too. Just like the Marigold. The deep purple and vibrant orange radiate cheerful vigour. The Malva is central to Aluna.
Malva is firmly rooted (taproot) and has an almost inexhaustible array of flowers. Energetically, she is said to teach grounded and selfless giving, without losing yourself.
Using Mother Nature's primal wisdom as a source of inspiration, I create colourful feminine energetic artworks from botanical material from the Land of Maas & Waal.
After completing the creative process, I capture the composition on film and give the elements back to nature. Each work is botanically referenced and given a name with meaning, making the work as a process both lasting, and therapeutic.
The compositions are photographed naturally, without editing afterwards.
